A big thank you to all of the mothers, special friends and relatives who shared in our Mother's Day Afternoon Tea today. It was a very special afternoon and the children loved sharing this time with you and letting you know how much you mean to them!

A reminder to please ensure that your child's iPad comes to school each day fully charged. Lately several students have been unable to complete work in the allocated time, due to their iPad battery already being flat or going flat partway through a task.
The students have now completed the construction of their models for their 'Going Places' unit of inquiry summative assessment task. By the end of next week (Week 4) their models and plans will be on display in the common area outside the Year 1 classrooms. Please come and admire their creativity - they have done a marvellous job!
There will be no Show and Share next week as we will be using this time for students to give their presentations for our 'Going Places' summative assessment.
Finally, wishing all mums a very Happy Mother's Day - we hope you have a wonderfully relaxing and fun day!
